Sandbar Estate New Vintages
In celebration of our relocation to South Australia, Vinous Australis has released the 2012 Sandbar Estate Barossa Valley Shiraz. Matured in French oak the 2012 Barossa Shiraz captures and expresses true Shiraz character in a wine with great maturation potential.

Loveday Ridge 2011 Release
The 2011 Loveday Ridge Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Peggy Flewellyn's Loveday Ridge vineyard has been bottled in both magnums and 750ml bottles. The soft round wine with abundant ripe fruit and soft tannins is well suited to immediate enjoyment. Discover the Loveday Ridge wines.
ORGANIC RANGE
Terra Ferus, Organic Shiraz
The Duralgai vineyards located on the fertile shores of Lake Boga in Swan Hill are meticulously nurtured by viticulturist Colin Free. The Duralgai grapes are a long standing source of the Sandbar Estate range and the recently released Angustum barrel matured Tempranillo highlights the quality of the grapes produced each year.
The oldest Shiraz vineyard has been converted to organic viticulture and has excelled in the warm dry conditions prevalent in Swan Hill. The old vines produced low yields of concentrated grapes in 2011 with vibrant ripe fruit flavours.
Harvested in the cool of night the grapes were gently crushed and cold macerated on skins for 24 hours before 10 percent of the juice was drained. This drained juice was cold settled, clarified and cool fermented to produce a vibrant, crisp and youthful Rose wine.
The balance of the wine was fermented on skins with extended maceration to ensure complete extraction of colour, flavour and tannin.
