Angustum is the result of a narrow place of mind, a focus and dedication to the production of exceptional wines, from unique vineyards of exceptional identity, character and quality. The Angustum logo is inspired by a good luck charm discovered in the depths of Souk Semmarine, Marrakesh in 1996 by winemaker Peter Flewellyn. This charm has since accompanied Peter on his journey through numerous wine regions of the world, as he honed his winemaking skills in diverse cultures. The Angustum wine portfolio comprises a diverse range of single-vineyard wines, each showcasing the distinct characteristics of its respective vineyard source. Each Angustum wine captures and expresses the unique essence of its vineyard, complemented by the regional and varietal influences. Through strategic partnerships with dedicated growers and viticulturists from selected vineyards of South Australia, the Angustum range offers a comprehensive array of styles, aromas, flavours, and textures. Committed to minimal intervention winemaking, sustainable grape cultivation, and innovative winemaking techniques, the Angustum portfolio remains attuned to the evolving preferences of wine consumers globally. With ongoing refinement through new partnerships, new styles, new packaging and versatile production, the Angustum portfolio targets a broad cross section of wine and beverage consumers, offering an identity, a story, a sense of place and identifiable characters in each of our wines. Driven by our iconic Quartzite and Grand Reserve releases, the wines are collectors wines, with limited production, vineyard driven complexity and long-term maturation potential, combined with eye catching packaging and a proven authenticity. Angustum wines will reward careful cellaring as the dedicated efforts of grower and winemaker are intended for long term enjoyment.
