A powerful, fully ripe Barossa Shiraz from the 2015 vintage — generous, structured and built for the cellar.

A cool start and welcome January rain gave balanced vines and ripe tannins, with a long, warm finish allowing an unhurried harvest. Deeply coloured, fully ripe Shiraz was fermented in five-tonne open vats, then basket-pressed direct to American oak, where it spent four years and three rackings before bottling.

Deep and brooding, with concentrated black fruit lifted by vibrant spice and fine-grain American oak. Full-bodied and richly textured, with a long finish. Drinking beautifully now, and will reward cellaring 15–20 years.

Decant and pair with game, roast meats, grilled steak or mature cheese.
