Sandbar Estate Shiraz

A rich, full-bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz from the warm 2023 vintage — mature, structured and ready to pour.

Grown on two Willunga sites — old vines on a north-facing slope, and richer alluvial plains — the fruit is hand-harvested and fermented in open vats with 40% whole bunches, basket-pressed to French and American oak, and matured for three years before bottling. Dark ruby, with intense ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and black-pepper spice; the full-bodied palate is concentrated and lightly leathery, framed by medium-grain tannins and balanced acidity.

Decant and pair with grilled or roasted red meats, game and mature cheeses. Mature and ready to drink.
